We are growing again and looking to hire a detail-oriented and "servant's heart" Account Executive to join our amazing team! We are a family-owned company that has been in business 25 years and so when you join our team, you truly become part of the family. We specialize in establishing, servicing, and consulting on the employee benefits needs for small to medium sized companies. This position will handle many of the administrative functions and duties that are associated with group insurance coverage and will work closely with internal benefit consultants and our clients. We provide an extremely high-level of service to our clients so a successful candidate will possess strong communication and problem-solving skills along with the ability to make accurate system entries and have interpersonal skills that support the ability to ensure deadlines are met in a timely manner.

** We do work in the office in Frisco and so this is not a remote position **
 
Responsibilities and Duties:
 
* Manage client account relationships on a daily basis
* Respond to client and carrier requests to resolve problems in a timely manner, answer questions and provide reports and documentation as needed
* Make entries in carrier systems to add or terminate coverage on client’s behalf
* Produce renewals for existing clients and proposals for prospective clients to be delivered by the benefits consultant
* Create employee benefit guides for clients using Adobe Acrobat Pro and Excel
* Make updates in CRM system (Agency Bloc)
* Make updates to online enrollment platform (Employee Navigator)
* Maintain and update internal client and carrier records
* Support sales staff with ad hoc requests
* Expand benefits and industry compliance knowledge through carrier meetings, research, or similar means on a regular basis
 
 
Qualifications and Skills:
 
* 1+ years industry experience or in a similar role is preferred
* Quick learner who is organized and has a high attention to detail
* Maintain accuracy while working in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
* Strong Microsoft Office skills with an emphasis on Excel and Word
* Ability to create and edit PDF’s using Adobe Acrobat Pro
* Proficiency in agency management systems and benefits applications is a plus – especially Agency Bloc (or similar CRM system), Employee Navigator, and Zywave
* Self-starter, professional
* Interpersonal skills with a servant’s heart
* Maintain the highest level of confidentiality
* Strong communication skills (verbal and written) including being an advocate for both insurance carriers and clients
* Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced dynamic environment
* Ability to follow established processes and procedures
