Frisco Family Services seeks a full-time Client Stabilization Coach to provide client assessment and advocacy to individuals and families in crisis. Reporting to the Client Services Director, the Client Stabilization Coach will assess and evaluate client needs such as help with food, rent, mortgage, utilities, and other critical needs), advocate on behalf of clients, provide information and referrals, personal development and employment coaching aimed at building self-sufficiency.
This position collaborates with clients to complete an Employment Needs Assessment and develop an Individual Employment Plan, equipping clients with the skills and resources necessary to effectively job search, build/update a resume, and prepare for interviews in order to obtain and maintain employment.
The candidate filling this position will serve as an advocate and resource to local employers looking to fill job openings. The candidate will deliver presentations to employers and business leaders on behalf of the organization.
Under the guidance of the Client Services Director, this position also provides field placement supervision for social work interns.
Requirements: Master’s degree in social work (MSW) required. Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with low to moderate income individuals in a social services setting or workforce and career development field, demonstrated experience delivering presentations; case management experience with families/individuals in crisis; excellent verbal and written communication required; working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
