Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team on a part-time basis. The primary focus will be administering Spravato (esketamine) nasal spray and IV/IM ketamine treatments. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to life-changing care in a dynamic, expanding practice, with the intent to transition to full-time as the clinic grows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer Spravato and IV/IM ketamine treatments in compliance with all safety protocols and regulations.
- Conduct patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and manage treatment sessions to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians and clinic staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records using our EHR system (familiarity with IntakeQ preferred).
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatments and aftercare.
- Uphold the highest standards of patient care, with an emphasis on excellent bedside manner.
Qualifications:
- Active Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification and Texas state licensure.
- Experience in psychiatric care, preferably with ketamine or similar infusion therapies.
- Familiarity with IntakeQ EHR systems is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate bedside manner are essential.
- Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team player.
