THE ROLE AT A GLANCE

When businesses experience fire, water, storm, or mold damage, they need more than a vendor — they need a trusted partner they already know.

As a Business Development Representative with SERVPRO, you’ll build relationships with property managers, insurance professionals, facility directors, and commercial decision-makers throughout the Dallas market. Your goal is to become the first call when disaster strikes.

This is a relationship-driven sales role focused on proactive prospecting, territory development, and long-term account growth. You’ll spend time in the field meeting clients, attending networking events, hosting lunch-and-learns, and building a strong pipeline of commercial relationships.

This is not a “sit behind a desk and cold call all day” position. We’re looking for someone who can build trust, create opportunities, and consistently grow business through strong relationships and execution.


WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Own and grow a designated Dallas-area territory of commercial accounts and Centers of Influence (COIs)
  • Build relationships with property managers, insurance agents, facility managers, and commercial businesses
  • Conduct daily business development activity including:
    • In-person visits
    • Networking events
    • Scheduled meetings
    • Lunch-and-learns
    • Industry association involvement
  • Research prospects before outreach and lead conversations with value and insight
  • Maintain accurate CRM activity and pipeline management
  • Identify client pain points and position restoration solutions consultatively
  • Conduct follow-up and relationship management after loss events
  • Hit weekly activity, meeting, and pipeline goals
  • Collaborate closely with operations teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

  • Professional presence with the ability to connect with all personality types
  • Coachable with a growth mindset
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • 2+ years of B2B sales, account management, staffing, recruiting, or business development experience
  • Existing network in the Dallas commercial market
  • Experience in restoration, construction, staffing, insurance, or property management industries
